Q: What is graphical programming? What kind of visualized platform is used by the Magician?
Graphical programming is a system using patterned procedure codes where users combine a set of executive programs as they wish, where it can operate complicated operations by the Magician. It is very easy to learn compared to traditional programing methods. Dobot Blockly is a visualized programming environment developed for the Magician. It is based on Google’s open-source platform Google Blockly. With Dobot Blockly users can program by simply putting puzzles together, it is intuitive and highly readable. It also integrated exclusive API for the Magician, one can use them right away.
Q: What is multi-robot cooperation?
Through Wi-Fi connection or connecting multiple robots to an external board, users can control multiple robots at once. This not only saves on controlling devices, but also improves efficiency in operation and calibration.
Q: What is offline mode?
The Magician has internal storage for commands. Users can upload their own playback list or codes and let it run on its own without connecting to any device.
Q: What is drag-to-teach?
Users can program robotic arm movements by simply pressing a button and dragging the robotic arm. One can also further customize movements by tweaking parameters using application software, where the playback action can be manually edited.
